What have been your latest favourite stationery must-haves recently? The stationery staples will always hold a place in our hearts, but just with any other market, the new wants always seem that little more extra special don’t they? Let’s take a look at the current stationery trends!
Oh yes! Foil is here! Well, foil has always been a favourite, but it is really beginning to boom in the planning industry, with every purchase having the opportunity to have some added pizzazz to it. From washi tape, to normal stickers, pens to overlays, we cannot seem to get enough foil in our stationery lives.
I wonder… Perhaps foil has a superpower to help us be more organised? Anything that beautiful and shiny must be able to help somehow… right?
Firstly, it was the Erin Condren and then came the Travellers Notebook craze. As wonderful as these planning methods are, and they are still heavily used even today, a new planner is making its way onto the scene. The Hobonichi Weeks Planner in all its sizes and formats such at the Hobonichi Cousin, are proving to be incredibly popular at the moment.
The creators, Hobonichi Techo are based in Japan and renown for making these planners with incredibly thin paper which is said to be resistant to the bleeding or feathering of ink. That has to be worth a try don’t you think?
Zebra Mildliner Highlighters
From work offices to students, the Zebra Mildliners have been a hit across the world, and can you blame them? The colours have been beautifully designed to still add that pop of colour to your page to highlight important or key notes, but are not excessively bright so you feel like you have been hit with a kaleidoscope.
In addition to this, the Zebra Mildliners come in many more colours than your standard orange, pink, blue, yellow and green highlighters. How amazing is that? Oh, did I forget to mention that they are also dual sided, meaning that not only can you highlight with them, but you can also write or doodle with the same colour?
There we have it – just a short and sweet list of a few things which are really taking the planner and stationery community by storm recently. Have you tried any of these?
Until next time…
